Directorate: Human Resource Management (HR Client and Advisory Unit)
Package: R 257 508.00 per annum plus benefits
Requirements: Matric plus a National Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management with 3-5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist with extensive experience in PILIR management.
Sound knowledge of all HR prescripts, Good communication skills, presentation skills, group dynamics, certificate and extensive knowledge in PERSAL, MS Word/Excel/ PowerPoint including a valid driver’s licence are essential.
Duties: Responsible for the correct application and implementation of the Policy and Procedure on Incapacity Leave and ILL- Health Retirement in the department. Analyse PILIR monthly reports and provide statistics based on the impact the policy has on the compensation of employee’s budget and service delivery.
Develop processes in line with the MISS in order to ensure PILIR applications are dealt with confidentiality. Monitor processes in order to administer uniformity. Identify gaps and provide recommendations. Provide a supporting role to all the institutions in the department. Co-ordinate and facilitate formal functional training on all areas of the PILIR policy. Participate in the Orientation and Induction programme of the department.
