eThekwini Work Experience Programme 2025 – 2026
The eThekwini Work Experience Programme offers recent graduates and TVET students an opportunity to gain valuable experience over a period of 18 to 24 months, depending on their qualification level. This initiative targets unemployed youth with no previous work experience and aims to improve their employability through meaningful work placement.

Monthly Stipend:
- Ranges from R2,661.68 to R8,093.01, depending on the level of qualification.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Hold a recognized qualification not older than 5 years
- Have no prior participation in any government/private Internship, Work Integrated Learning or Work Experience Programme for 12 months or more
- Be unemployed and between 18–35 years old
- People with disabilities who meet the criteria are strongly encouraged to apply
