  • The Spa Receptionist ensures the well-being of the SPA guests with professional competence.
  • All-round care of guests – warm, personalised guest welcome and farewells.
  • Professional advice and sales of treatments and products.
  • Competent handling of guest feedback.
  • Controls daily closing and administrative work.
  • Well-developed organization and computer skills.
  • Sales and consulting experience.
  • Strong PC Skills using Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or equivalent mail client application.

Requirements:

  • Proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English, and fluency in at least 2 of the following languages: German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, Chinese. Any other language is considered as advantageous.
  • 1+ year of experience as assistant SPA manager or receptionist in a Fitness or Beauty centre or 4* star Hotel.
  • Somatology/Cosmetology/Beauty Diploma or similar.
  • Strong PC Skills using Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook or equivalent mail client application.
  • Proven accounting skills, marketing strategy and the ability to lead the group to meet new goals.

Responsibilities:

  • In a professional, persuasive and friendly way, encourage guests to buy SPA services and products.
  • Manage the day-today operation of the SPA with initiative and creativity.
  • Be on duty seven days each week, at hours advised by the SPA Manager. (Hours will vary according to itinerary).
  • Always be on duty at least 10 minutes before the advertised opening time of the SPA to allow you to make a quick check of the premises before doors are open for business.
  • In home ports (or any other port), be available to assist with the loading of merchandise, and distribution to storage areas or SPA.
  • When the SPA is closed, cooperate with colleagues in the following duties: Stock control, SPA arrangements and Window decorations.
  • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge of all merchandise sold in the SPA.
  • Exercise extreme care with all articles for sale in the SPA.
  • Compliant with all Health & Safety regulations within the SPA.
