Rand Water is looking for candidates to assist Artisan to conduct general maintenance and installation of domestic plumbing equipment and assist in the fabrication of pipeline equipment and installation of pipeline equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12.
2 years experience in the workshop environment.

Job Advert Summary
To monitor main pumps, pump outputs, destination station, pump effeciencies and to capture all information as required by the shift supervisor for compilation of daily and monthly reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) • NQF Level 4 or N3 in Water and Waste Water Treatment • National Diploma or Degree in Water Care will be an advantage • 2 years’ water purification plant experience • Computer literacy • Class IV Process Controller Classification • A valid Code B driver’s license with the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 driver test
Primary Duties
The critical functions will include: • Starting and stopping of pumps, following the required operations procedure. • Perform inspection for any leaks or other abnormalities. • Monitoring of pump performance and taking daily readings • Reporting defects on the plant on time to ensure maximum plant availability • Ensure the working environment is safe and comply with occupational health and safety regulations. • Ensure the ISO 9001 requirement are met and complied with at all times.
Knowledge • Operating of HV and LV electrical equipment and large pumping units
- Basic knowledge of OHS Act and its applications

Job Advert Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible to transport staff on request as approved by the HRM. To collect and deliver mail for the Human Resources Department as and when required.
Minimum Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
A certificate in office administration or equivalent will serve as an advantage
Valid drivers license with the ability to pass Rand Waters K53 test
Must be in possession of Public Drivers Permit
2 years relevant experience functioning in an HR environment
Primary Duties
Driver responsibility will include to deliver/collect mail and parcels.
Ensure at all times that the HR vehicle remains road worthy by performing inspections and reporting all incidents and defects on a daily basis. Keep the vehicle neat and clean at all times.
The incumbent must collect and deliver documents from and to Rand Water sites.
The incumbent must ensure that the Log book, is completed after each trip.
The successful candidate will transport staff for training and for well-being purposes.
