We have an amazing opportunity for an Administrator(YES Programme) on a 12-month fixed-term contract to be based at, Umhlanga. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting the team with the administrative function to achieve all business objectives in line with the business strategy. The team member will be responsible for data capturing, overseeing workflow processes, maintaining schedules as well as tracking and updating project status within the operation. This person must have excellent communication skills, time-management and attention to detail.

Who can apply?

  • Applicants between 18 – 35 years of age. 
  • Currently unemployed.
  • Have not participated in a YES Programme with another organisation before.


What You Bring:

  • 1 year Administration experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office


A Bonus To Have:

  • Pastel Evolution or Similar Accounting Software

What You’ll Do For The Brand:

Financial metrics / Operational Duties

  • Coordinate and minute meetings.
  • Coordinate diaries for the team and attend to scheduling of meetings etc.
  • Capturing of stock requisitions and job cards.
  • Create and complete reports as required by the business.
  • Accurate and efficient data capturing as required by management and the team.
  • Ensure workflow processes are completed timeously, this includes following up with relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  • Maintain and update the tracker for all projects within the business.
  • Be creative, resourceful and detail orientated, must multi-task and prioritize work with ease in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Assist with customer queries.
  • Assisting with queries raised by management which requires extracting source documentation.
  • General admin duties.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as required by management.

 
People

  • Performance must be tracked by yourself and the onus is place on you to set-up performance review meetings with the Group Financial Manager.

Compliance, risk and quality

  • Produce high quality, neat, logical, succinct, easy to follow, easy to understand work.
  • Ensure the above (final version) and other documents are chronologically saved/backed up.
  • Compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Good business acumen and high ethical work standards.
  • Ability to multitask and show initiative at all times.
