Salary: R 373 764 – R 512 736 per annum (Plus benefits) 

Core Responsibilities:

 ·         Installation and commissioning of LV, MV and HV electrical equipment to provide electrical infrastructure  

·         Maintenance, refurbishment and repair of LV, MV and HV electrical distribution network to sustain uninterrupted service

·         Inspection, maintenance and replacement of LPU electricity meters

·         Inspection, maintenance and replacement of current and voltage transformer connected electricity meters

·         Maintenance of public lighting equipment to provide an acceptable level of service

·         Maintenance of the electrical wiring installation of Substations and Energy Distribution Business Unit related buildings to comply with statutory requirements

·         Comply with safety regulations as required by the OHS Act

·         Execute administrative and general duties to promote productivity and service delivery

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

·          Accredited Electrician Trade Test Certificate

·         Knowledge of Municipal Distribution Network

·         Valid Code C1 Driver’s License with PrDP

·         3 years’ post qualification experience in similar environment
